Now comes the obvious question – if my words for this year are aimed at moving me closer to my goal of being at my healthy weight, why aren’t these all pictures related to that? Because I’m not totally sure how to capture that in more concrete ways. I don’t think pictures of other people’s bodies will help me feel good about my own body and while pictures of veggies and healthy food can be pretty they just didn’t seem as inspiring to me.
But I do have a picture of myself that I love – nothing most of you haven’t seen before – but it seemed to fit this prompt:

Believe.
Be sure to click over to Chelsea’s blog to see the other participants in this week’s link up and find out how you can participate – you’re definitely welcome to join in any any point!

My name is Kate. I'm a makeup and coffee addict (and total Jesus freak) fighting to lose over 100 pounds. But there's more to life than losing weight. This is where I try to balance it all - and hilarity ensues.

Hi Halle! Thanks for visiting. I don’t get to have GFC cause google took it away from non-blogger based blogs : ( But you can still grab my RSS feed and/or become a Facebook fan!
Aww, you look beautiful in that picture! It’s nice to have a handful of pictures that you love of yourself. Every time I see my current profile pic, I love it & it’s a positive affirmation to myself.
Thanks, Katie : ) You’re right, having awesome pictures of yourself is always a great reminder to me to be kind and caring to myself. Especially if they’re associated with good memories!
Those are great. I especially like the one with the hands and the kayaks. Stopping by from the link-up.
