This weekend I’m at FITBLOGGIN!
I suspect there will be at least ONE new person who comes across my blog this week/end as a result of this conference. Or maybe you’re just new here over the past few months or so. Either way, let’s chat.

I’m not a “fitness” or “healthy living” blogger – I mostly just ramble on about whatever’s on my mind or – oh look! Something shiny!
But seriously, I’m working toward losing close to 100 pounds so fitness is a big part of my life. I just don’t always have enough to say about it to fill a blog post!
Things you should know about me:
I am PAINFULLY SHY in real life until I get to know you. So please come say hi to me! I’m pushing myself to be as outgoing in real life this weekend as I am on my blog/in my vlogs – but if you catch me doing the smile and look away, just know that I’m not being rude or blowing you off – I just feel awkward and don’t know how to start a conversation. But I’m excited to be at Fitbloggin and I can’t wait to meet as many of you as I can!
You say, “Let’s do an easy 5K!” I say, “Sounds like fun – if you mean in the pool.” I’m a swimmer and I really love strength training. Running? No thanks. I love to dance (often and publicly) and I like yoga of all kinds. But I’d sooner do 100 squats than spend even 5 minutes on the stairs. Funny story? I joined my gym because I could take the elevator from the parking garage instead of the stairs and not look as lazy as that feels. And then my trainer found that out and now I take the stairs anyway. But it’s the worst part of my workout! So Lazy!
If you want to be my friend – talk to me about swimming, sushi, shoes, books, manicures, or music.
If you want to be my new BFF – suggest we skip CrossFit and get Slurpees instead. I’ll love you forever. Or if the conference is already over, just suggest we get Slurpees. Either way, I’m yours.
