Not gonna lie, this is my favorite day of every month and today it’s extra special because I get to participate as a Guest Host!
I love me some Vlogs and this month’s prompt was no exception. I hope you’re excited too because for whatever reason I know y’all love to see inside my bags. I’ve posted in the past about what’s in my gym bag, what’s in my purse, and what’s in that mythical bag of stuff you manage to grab before you leave your burning house. Today I’ll be showing off what’s in my makeup bag. Prepare to cringe cause not only is this is a topic I am highly unqualified to speak on, I also managed to break several of my personal vlogging rules – always make eye contact with camera (not yourself) and use natural lighting instead of playing tricks with your lamps at night. But you can’t win em all.
Highlights:
That awkward moment when I showcase how little I know about types/kinds/genres of makeup. Seriously – what’s the word for the subclassifications? (e.g. Mascara, Eye Shadow, Blush, Bronzer) Forms?
I show off my favorite mascara – but only on one eye and spend the rest of the video looking like I’m auditioning for A Clockwork Orange.
I need to know your favorite eyeliner! I’m still looking for an eyeliner I can give my heart to.

Great job!! Eyeshadows are where I’m most lacking in my makeup bag, its fun to see all of your picks! I’m usually just rocking the winged liner and mascara. I use Maybellines eye studio gel liner and it works wonders. As far as mascara, I will always be a CG lash blast gal!

After searching high and low at the drugstore, I finally gave in and bought a MAC eyeliner. This one was it. I use Buried Treasure, which is a brown/black with a slight gold undertone that looks fantastic and goes on so smoothly.

YES! I love color tattoo stuff. That’s all I wear now. It stays on all day long. I can’t wait until they come out with more colors. That eye liner is also my favorite. It’s a gel one, and you have to use a brush to put it on but it’s totes my favorit! Thanks for co-hosting! I agree with Emily, we kind sucked at promoting this month.
