WARNING: If you are sensitive to, or feel you may be triggered by, images of horrendous wallpaper and outdated fixtures, please skip this post. I cannot be responsible for you going on a redecorating/renovating binge.
Some time ago I shared with you the horror that was my parent’s master bathroom. I know there’s a small fraction of you who were up nights worrying about the progress of this project, but I also know even if you’re not design-oriented all the time that most of you can appreciate the occasional makeover post.
The bathroom is finally finished with a little help of bathtub refinishing toms river and I promised to put the after pictures on my blog because I brought so much shame on the family when I posted the before pictures, I honestly think this turned out to be one of the best bathroom remodeling projects we’ve done so far.
So let’s take a look!
Goodbye wallpaper, carpet by the sink (that had to be sent to carpet cleaning professionals in Manchester), and brass everywhere…Hello new everything!
Goodbye cramped, tiny shower (it’s behind that small window in the picture above, to the right of the door) and bathtub that was only ever used for drying laundry. Hello bright, beautiful shower!
Goodbye cramped hidden toilet. Hello spacious one.
I know I didn’t get a great picture of the light fixtures before, but this chandelier may be my favorite addition to the bathroom. Honestly, I can’t remember if there was anything there before but if there was it was clearly not making an impression on anyone!
I’m also pretty sure this means my parents’ house is now wallpaper free which is a major victory.
Hope you’re having a Happy Monday!
