Y’all, I have no idea what I did to myself on Sunday but I’ve been sick ever since. And before you ask, no, I was not drinking during that joke of a football game they had the nerve to call a bowl game. I was cleaning my room and I think I would have caught a cold from the dust while clearning my room. Had I wore the best pollen mask, I don’t think I would have fallen sick.
Nothing says pitiful like a grainy selfie, right?
Unless it’s one of your dogs checking on you every 15 minutes to make sure you’re not dead while the other one stays in your bed all day because he knows you’re coming right back there.
“Are you sure you’re not dead? You look a little dead to me.”
I’m starting to think the camera in my phone is slowly devolving over time so I’ll be more inclined to upgrade. Yeah, haha, no. I have priorities. Like getting another beauty subscription box. Oops.
Every time I get sick I secretly think to myself “maybe this will help me lose weight.” That’s never once worked out for me but I try to keep that hope alive while still being thankful I’ve never actually gotten that sick. At least I know I’m not alone in wishing weight loss could be effortless sometimes since that’s what the entire billion dollar diet industry is built on.
At any rate, I spent Monday trying to rest and get better. I had some mild success with that. When I wasn’t resting I was catching up on blog reading and planning out some future blog posts (obviously not this one, hah). It’s funny, when I wasn’t blogging, I didn’t miss blogging. Now that I’m doing it again I don’t know why I ever stopped!
