Today I’m sharing my January 2017 Dia Box with you! If you need a reminder about what Dia&Co is and why I’m so excited about it, Dia&Co is a styling service that is specifically for plus size clothing. You can see my first Dia box here. This not a sponsored post, I’m just sharing because I really like the service.
I put a lot of time into my feedback after my first box and I had really high hopes for this second box since my first box was so close to perfect. I took dresses and jewelry off the list and added scarves on because I was hoping for a blanket scarf. I also asked for sweaters and longer tops that would keep everything covered (#tallgirlproblems).
My stylist did a great job putting together this box. I had a new stylist this time and I could tell she took my feedback into consideration because I got two sweaters, a blanket scarf and the colored pants I mentioned. All the colors were fantastic so my decisions really came down to fit and feel.
Celebrity Pink Ruthie Colored Skinny Jeans – $65.00
These are ankle length, something I tend to avoid because of my height. I’m wearing these in all the pictures and was surprised to find that they actually were long enough for me. They would have been great to wear with boots. Unfortunately they did that whole loose at the waist and tight at the calves business so between each of these pictures I had to yank them back into place.
Fashion to Figure Nashville Lace Up Sweater – $38.90
When I first pulled this out of the box I loved the v-neck front and lace-up detail on the back. What a fun way to add color and interest to a plain sweater, right? I thought for sure this would be a keeper but when I put it on I was almost immediately too hot. When I saw the pictures I realized it just wasn’t as cute as I’d hoped.
Loveland Scarf – $29.00
Can I tell you how much I’ve been wanting a blanket scarf? Because I have. I have no need for another scarf in my life but I loved the look so much and wanted to give it a try. Now I have and I don’t think it’s a good look on me. We also just don’t get that cold here. Truth be told, if this were the only thing in the box I liked I would have kept it but it wasn’t.
Molly&Isadora Walker Sweater – $59.00
Once again, I wanted to LOVE this sweater. The wrap style was fun and I liked the idea of the unusual hem line. It was just too tight which meant it was also too short. It was okay as long as I didn’t move or lift my arms and you know that’s just no good for a $60 sweater.
KIYONNA Empire Waist Knit Top – $64.00
This top was actually the first thing out of the box and I knew right away I would like it. I had a similar top before that I wore until it fell apart on me so this one will probably have a similar fate. I just wish, again, that it were a little bit longer. Still, it’s very comfortable and with my $20 credit it came down to $44.
That’s everything that came in my January 2017 Dia Box. For the second month I was still pretty impressed and definitely pleased that I got some options I liked enough to keep. My stylist let me know that she’d read all my feedback from the last box and I felt like that was reflected in the items I received. I’ll definitely be sharing another box with you next month!
If you’re interested in trying Dia&Co, you can use my referral link and I will get a $20 credit (one month’s styling fee).
I got a lot of great feedback on my last Dia&Co post (especially the video). I’ll be honest, it definitely had me thinking about doing a few more outfit posts like I used to do. Maybe when we have more hours of daylight available? We’ll see!
